Commercial photographer Mark Wiens is a master when it comes to all things golf. Shooting the Burner golf club line for TaylorMade’s advertising agency, NYCA, Mark also created a personalized font for the campaign. Enlisting the help of a metal sculpture artist, Mark and his team engraved magnesium plates stylized with lettering that were used to create the ads’ headline. They later turned all of the engraved plates into a specialized font. The font shows textured detail of the clubs that Mark captures perfectly in the close up images.
